Sasquatch HPC User Guides
Welcome
![]()
This is the User Guide for Sasquatch HPC. This guide contains the latest guide, best-practices, and recommendations for using Sasquatch in the HPC Core. This book is a living document and is updated frequently. We invite you to come back often to see the latest guidance.
Where to start
If you are familiar with HPCs in general, but new to Sasquatch, take a look at the Quick Start Guide starting with 1 Onboarding and Setup, and then view some of the other chapters as needed.
If you are completely new to HPC computing, you may want to start with the Sasquatch section beginning with 5 Introduction to HPC clusters and work your way sequentially through subsequent chapters and sections.
For users who are new to linux, we have also written an introductory guide to Linux although we are not actively maintaining it.
Consultations
Consult with us early on as you are planning your project! We are always happy to meet to discuss engineering and resources needs. We can also provide a letter of support to strengthen your grant application. Please contact us via the High Performance Computing Service Desk.
